H.O.P.E. Acres Rescue needs a ride: help us replace our rusty old trailer!

This #GivingTuesday, you can give neglected horses and donkeys a way to get the care they need. Whether it's bringing a new rescue to the farm, taking them to the vet clinic, or delivering them to their new forever home, the volunteers of H.O.P.E. Acres have to be able to transport them where they need to go. Just one problem: our current trailer is old and unsafe. The frame is rusted beyond repair, the doors and dividers hang crooked and won't close, and two of the ramp's three hinges have now rusted away, making it completely unusable.

We need your help to purchase a new trailer!

Why it Matters

• Dependability: We must have a reliable trailer that is ready to go in an emergency. This new trailer would bring new horses and donkeys to the rescue, deliver adopted equines to their new homes, and transport sick animals to veterinary clinics.

• Efficiency: Replacing our old 3 horse trailer with another of the same size allows us to pick up or deliver multiple equines at once without having to borrow another trailer or make two trips.

• Safety: A new trailer ensures safe and secure transport. A trailer with a ramp also makes loading and unloading easier for horses that are nervous or unsteady on their feet.

H.O.P.E. Acres is operated entirely by volunteers with no paid staff. Every dollar you donate will go directly to purchasing a new trailer to serve the horses and donkeys of H.O.P.E.
